Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission

The article should be prepared for blind refereeing, with revealing acknowledgements and self-identifying references removed.

Articles cannot exceed 50,000 characters, including footnotes and empty spaces; excluding references.

Please send a separated Title Page that should include:

The name(s) of the author(s)

Title

The affiliation(s) and address(es) of the author(s)

The e-mail address of the corresponding author

Abstract

Please provide in the text an abstract in English of 150 words at most. 

Abbreviations

Abbreviations should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter.

Footnotes

Footnotes to the text are numbered consecutively. Always use footnotes instead of endnotes following the example:

Borges (1944), p. 33

When the text was just quoted and the page is the same write:

Ibidem.

When the text was just quoted but the page is different write:

Ibidem, p. 149. 

General example:

1 Rosen S. (1988), p. 13.

2 Ibidem

3 Ibidem, p. 31.

Quotation marks:

For quotation in the body text: ""

For quotation inside of another quotation: ' '

to emphasize a word: 'truth'

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

    The publisher will not be held legally responsible in case of any claims for compensation.

  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.

    Use italics for emphasis.

    Use the automatic page numbering function to number the pages.

    Do not use field functions.

    Use tab stops or other commands for indents, not the space bar.

    Use the table function, not spreadsheets, to make tables.

  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. "The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

  7. The editorial board strongly recommend that all non-native speakers have their papers proofread by a native speaker prior to submission. Papers with serious linguistic deficiencies may be returned without review.

  8. Authors wishing to include figures or tables that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.
